......after this Roy starts with the basic layouts
of the drawings in washes of oil paints in
mono colours initially.

progressively added to the paintings.

These 4 paintings all measure 48 x 60
inches. Roy stretches his own canvas in his
studio after which he primes it with a white
undercoat,then ready for the oil paints.
